Mr. Bernard is a security expert and consultant actively operating in the industry for over a decade. He has owned and/or managed security companies in both New York and Georgia, in addition to working with clients worldwide. In his years as a security practitioner he has conducted security and risk assessments for many businesses. He is a Subject Matter Expert in Security Management and Crime Prevention and is well versed in the practice of CPTED (Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design) and Crime Free Multi-Housing.
Mr. Bernard has conducted security assessments in a wide variety of environments, including, but not limited to, apartment complexes, educational facilities, shopping centers, and warehouses. These locations each provide unique logistical challenges for planning for the appropriate security measures. Having experience with so many different locales is a true asset, making Mr. Bernard an agile expert who can adapt to any set of circumstances presented by any location.
While working in the security field, Mr. Bernard has become a valued consultant for companies and clients seeking advice on the use of protection including video surveillance, alarm systems and hiring security personnel. These companies and clients have trusted his deep knowledge of best security practices, seeking out his opinion on such highly valuable properties as Jordan Klein Jewelers and Magic Johnson Theatre in New York City and Factory Atlanta, an industrial event venue, in Chamblee, Georgia.
Not only is Mr. Bernard an expert security practitioner, he also has experience managing large teams who handle large events. Mr. Bernard has provided professional security services for some of the largest events in New York, where 150 artists performed and well over 100,000 guests were in attendance (Afropunk, Rock Da Bells, and the Brooklyn Hip Hop Festival, just to name a few). In these instances, Mr. Bernard has been in charge of hiring, training, and managing security personnel. He is able to take ownership of large tasks while also being able to delegate and distribute responsibilities so that the best possible security plan can be effortlessly executed.
